Bentonite Tank Fabrication and Delivery

Problem

A bored-pile site needs tanks to mix and store bentonite slurry and to let used slurry settle; the tanks must move to the next site when the job ends, so their size is limited by road transport.

Solution

A rectangular tank with plate shell and stiffeners, lifting lugs and support legs, nozzles and overflow connections. Welds are checked by water-fill test; the exterior is finished with site-grade primer and top coat.

Result

The tank is trucked to site and set down by crane; line connections are made on site.
